How to Use Conversation Filters and Bulk Actions
This feature allows users to filter conversations and perform various actions on them, enhancing overall experience and effectiveness.
Bulk Actions
You can perform bulk actions on conversations to handle multiple conversations at once.
How to Use Bulk Actions
Go to Conversations in the sidebar. Tick on the box right beside Actions. Once ticked, all conversations will be marked “checked”.
Click on the Actions dropdown to view the Bulk Actions options. You can make the following Bulk Actions:
Mark conversations as Read: All conversations will be marked as read.
Mark conversations as Unread: All conversations will be marked as unread.
Mark conversations as Starred: All conversations will be marked as starred.
Mark conversations as Unstarred: All conversations will be marked as Unstarred.
Delete conversations: Conversations will be deleted.
Note: Bulk Actions are limited to 100 conversations at a time.
Filter Conversations (Quick Filter)
You can use filters to narrow down your Conversations View and focus on the specific conversations you need at the moment.
Click on the filter icon to view the filter options.
The following filters are available:
By conversation type
By assignee
By last message channel: Filter the conversations whose last message was from the selected channel.
By last message type: Filter the conversations whose last message (outbound) was from the selected type.
By last message direction: Filter the conversations whose last message direction was from the selected type.
By last outbound message type.
By the last outbound message action: Manual or Automated
Sort Conversations
You can sort your Conversations based on time, making it easier to navigate and review your conversations.
You can sort it as:
Latest to oldest
Oldest to latest
To sort the conversation, click on “Latest-All”.
This sorting feature works seamlessly with the Quick filters mentioned earlier, providing a structured approach to your conversations. When you apply filters and sort conversations by oldest or latest, the system considers the selected filters as well.
Starred Functionality
You can mark a conversation as “starred”, which will attach an identifying icon to it for easy recognition.
To mark a conversation as "starred," simply click on the star icon located in the upper right corner of the conversation preview window. If you wish to remove the starred status, click on the star icon again.
