Post Approval Flow in Social Planner
The Social Planner features a post-approval flow, enabling users to have their social media content reviewed and analyzed by another team member.
How to Start the Post-Approval Flow
Go to Marketing > Social Planner. Click the "New Post" button.
After creating the post, click the arrow down icon in the “Post” button and choose “Schedule for Approval”.
Do the following:
Add the date and time for the schedule.
Choose the user who would approve the post to be scheduled in the social calendar.
Add an internal note for approval for more information.
Once done, the post will be sent to review. You’ll receive an email for the scheduled post.
The posts for approval can be viewed in the “Approval” tab.
View – This allows the user to check the details before approving or rejecting.
Approve – Once the reviewer clicked this, the post will be approved, and it will be scheduled in the social calendar.
Reject - Once the reviewer clicks this, the post will be rejected, and the user can view the comment by the reviewer.
Editing and Applying an Email Template for Post Approval Email
Users can set the email and brand the email template for approval in Settings.
Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates > New > Email Marketing
Click “Systems Planner” and choose “Social Planner: Post Approval.”
Use and edit this template as you see fit.
The template you just created can be added to the Post Approval email flow in Social Planner.
Go back to the “Social Planner” tab and click the gear icon.
Go to the “Notifications” tab and choose the email template under Setup Email Template for Social Post Approval.
Schedule CSV For Approving Bulk Posts
Go back to the “Social Planer” tab and click New Post. Click “Create a New CSV”.
Once the user adds the CSV file and Selects the Social Account, you can choose to send it for approval.
When the posts are imported, they go for review by the approver selected. Once approved, they are scheduled on the social calendar.
