This trigger is great for adding that personal touch to your automated efforts within the software. To use this trigger, simply go into the Workflows area and click the "Add New Workflow Trigger" button at the top. (1)
When the side bar opens, choose "Birthday Reminder" from the "Choose a trigger" dropdown bar. (2)
At this point, if you want to just save and close it, the workflow will run at 0800 on your contact's birthday and do whatever you have in the workflow. While this is great, you can take it to the next level.
If you choose to add a filter like, "Before No. Of Days", you can set this to whatever you like and then do several things like send text messages or emails up to and including the birthday. (3)
Proper use of this tool can add a very personal touch to your followup/Nurture program efforts if done properly.
