Birthday Reminder

This feature operates on a customer's birthday. It will activate a birthday reminder for either a customer or a team member who is being celebrated.

After No. Of Days

By using this filter, you have the option to set a reminder for a specific number of days after the customer's birthday. You can input the desired number of days to trigger the "celebrate a birthday" message after their birthdate.

Before No. Of Days

By utilizing the "Before No. of Days" filter, you have the ability to send a notification a few days prior to the birthday. For example, if the customer or team member's birthday is on August 3rd, you can set the reminder for the day before, which is August 2nd. This workflow will trigger a reminder on August 2nd, allowing you to proceed to the next step, such as sending a "Birthday SMS." You can use the "Wait" action for 24 hours, which will align with the actual birthday on August 3rd.

Day Is

By selecting this filter, you can opt to receive a reminder on the exact birthday. The workflow will be triggered specifically on the customer or team member's birthday.

Month Is

By utilizing this filter, you can choose to send out birthday SMS to customers or team members on a monthly basis. Simply click on the filter, select their birth month, and you can send a bulk message to all individuals celebrating their birthdays within that month.

Navigating Trigger

This trigger is great for adding that personal touch to your automated efforts within the software. To use this trigger, simply go into the Workflows area and click the "Add New Workflow Trigger" button at the top.

When the sidebar opens, choose "Birthday Reminder" from the "Choose a trigger" dropdown bar.

At this point, if you want to just save and close it, the workflow will run at 0800 on your contact's birthday and do whatever you have in the workflow. While this is great, you can take it to the next level.

If you choose to add a filter like, "Before No. Of Days", you can set this to whatever you like and then do several things like send text messages or emails up to and including the birthday. (3)

Proper use of this tool can add a very personal touch to your follow-up/Nurture program efforts if done properly.
