The workflow Math operation is a useful tool that can be used for updating numerical, monetary or date custom fields, based on a math operation. A typical scenario where this can be useful is in lead scoring. A field called lead score can be updated or incremented when the lead completes an action by clicking a trigger link, opening an email or submitting a form.
NOTE:
Only Numeric, Monetary and Date field types are supported. The Select field and Update Field can be same or different but it has to be of same field type. If the output value is negative then it will be replaced as zero.
Inside the workflow click on the plus icon:Search for the Math Operation and click on it

Within this field, you are presented with several options for performing mathematical operations. Let's explore each of them individually.
Action Name - You have the flexibility to assign a name to the operation or leave it blank. Providing a descriptive name can help you identify the purpose of this workflow.
Standard fields - These fields are designed to facilitate math operations involving dates. For example, if you wish to automate a task a certain number of days before your client's birthday, you can configure the automation accordingly using these standard fields.
