How To Use SMS & Text Templates

Create your Email Template

When you create an email template, you will see this page. Follow these steps to customize your email.

1) Give it a name in the "Name" bar. This name is internal so name it something that will make it easy for you to find.
2) Write your subject line
3) Write the body of your email. Here you can customize the text formatting & add in custom values or trigger links.
4) Attach any files you may wish to.
5) Click Save to save it.

PRO TIP: Use the {{contact.first_name}} custom value to personalize the email to the contact. Custom values can be placed in the body or subject line of the email.

Once you open up the template builder you can write your templated message. On the right-hand side, you can see a preview of the message.

Be sure to click save once you are done.

PRO TIP: Use the {{contact.first_name}} custom value to dynamically bring in the first name of your contact. This will give the message a nice personal touch. Click here to learn more about custom values.

Click on the template icon

Next time someone asks you a common question you can quickly answer them with your ready-to-go template.

Click on the template icon

Click on the down carrot to search for the name of your template. Once you've found it click "Use Template"

Now your template is loaded in, simply click send. Templates are an easy way to save tons of time!

As you communicate with clients you'll come up with tons of ideas for new templates.
