Apple Pay and Google Pay In Invoices And Text2Pay Links
Our platform offers support for Apple Pay and Google Pay for both one-time and recurring invoices, as well as Text2Pay links. The availability of Apple Pay and Google Pay to our customers' end users will depend on their geographic location and the web browser they are using. If a customer has a payment method associated with their Google or Apple account, and both these conditions are met, they will see the options to pay using Google Pay or Apple Pay alongside the default choice of a credit card.
How To Enable Apple Pay and Google Pay
Go to Payments > Integrations tab
A stripe payment connection is the need. If you’re using Stripe API to connect to Stripe, use Stripe Connect. Once connected, enable Apple Pay and Google Pay in your Stripe Account and it will automatically start appearing in invoices and Text2Pay links.
Apple Pay requires an additional step to register the domain on which the payment will be accepted using Apple Pay. The platform will do this registration for all businesses automatically as soon as the Stripe account is connected. This will automatically allow them to offer Apple Pay as a payment method in invoices and text2pay link payments.
The Difference in the Reporting of Transactions and Orders
The reporting and tracking of transactions and orders will remain unchanged. Stripe treats Apple Pay and Google Pay payments as card payments, so all orders made through Apple Pay or Google Pay will be accurately reflected on the Invoices and Transactions page.
The difference in Stipe Pricing for Transactions Processed Through Credit Cards and Apple/Google Pay
There are no differences in pricing between credit card transactions and Apple Pay/Google Pay transactions. Both payment methods are charged similarly to credit card transactions, ensuring consistent pricing for all types of payments.
