How To Send & Schedule Emails with Email Campaigns
On this guide, you'll learn how to send your email campaign and the different options the system has for your marketing emails.
Make sure you've created your email templates before trying to send your marketing email campaigns. Here's a quick guide on how to create your email templates.
Go To Marketing
Go To Campaigns
Click on "Emails", then click on "Campaigns".
Click on "Create Campaign".
Select A Template
Click on the icon for the template you choose.
Click on "Save or Schedule"
Set Up Sending Option
First, define your sending options. You can choose between:
Send Now: send your email campaign right away to all contacts at once.
Schedule: send your email campaign to all contacts at a certain date and time.
Batch Schedule (recommended): send your email in batches at a certain date and time.
RSS Schedule: useful for blogs and other sites to send updates or pull information from a site into an email.
In the "Subject Line" field, enter the subject for your email.
Set Up Preview Text
This will be used as the preview text that displays in some email clients.
Set Up Recipients Details - Select Contacts
You can send your email campaign to:
All contacts
Specific contacts (use the search bar)
Contacts within a Smart List
Contacts with specific tag(s)
Set Up Recipients Details - Select Smart List
Click on "Send to smart list" and select a smart list from the dropdown bellow.
Set Up Recipients Details - Contacts From Tags
Click on "Choose contacts from tags" and select a smart list from the dropdown bellow.
Confirm Number Of Recipients
You will see the total number of recipients on the right side, next to the dropdown.
Save it!
Confirm that the information is accurate, then click on "Save".
Send It!
After saving, go ahead and click on "Send" or "Schedule" (depending on your sending option) and your email campaign is already on its way!
